You know you’re a grown up when you finally decide to invest in a Herman Miller office chair – We popped in to Griffin Office Solutions in Athlone and got a surprisingly good deal on two second hand chairs today! They were so lovely to deal with, no pressure to purchase there and then, and we came away with exactly what we wanted. The chairs have a 12 month warranty and they not only stock parts but also do repairs in house. We were told each chair is stripped down and refurbished, cleaned and inspected, before they are put out for sale. What they can’t refurbish they reuse for parts. My chair had “damaged seat” on the label but it is so hard to find the small bit of pulled stitching. None of the “damaged” stock actually looked damaged and the price range (depending on how many bells and whistles you’re after) seemed to cater to most budgets!

Bought a refurbished Herman Miller Aeron chair. To be honest, it looks brand new. Absolutely delighted with the chair. Delivery was easy to arrange and exactly at pre-arranged time. Would highly recommend Griffin Office Solutions.
Absolutely excellent service. Not only did they manage to find me a size C when I asked (and it was in very, very good condition), but they even came to my place and repaired the chair onsite when I found it to have a bit of a wobble in the gas cylinder, for free, even though that was months after purchase.
I would heartily recommend you buy here if you’re looking for a good, long-lasting office chair !

Just to tell you that my chair is wonderful. It provides support like I’ve never had before. Despite being a Type A, I find the room very adequate, perhaps because I’m fairly slim.

Bought Aeron Chair from Griffin Office. OMG! Its like sitting on a cloud from mount Olympus. Best chair ever. I also had a tailbone pain, due to sitting too long on office chairs. Aeron Chair completely removed it. In terms of delivery, was super fast. Bought chair Lunchtime Monday, Wednesday 12pm was already sitting on the chair, was delivered to my door step. I don’t often leave reviews on many of my customer experiences but I have to say this one made me get straight to the computer.
I have to honestly say it was one of the best customer experiences I have ever had. I emailed Dermot about a chair and almost instantly got a reply. I had been looking for a Herman Miller chair for my boyfriend for quite some time and he was the only company who got back to me and was SO accommodating.
The chair was delivered to me by Dermot himself within a week of ordering and it was in pristine condition.
