If not, you should consider a higher counter. How much storage does it need? What type and size of storage – filing cabinets, shelves etc.? If customers need to sign a “Visitor Book” then the counter needs to be at a higher level so they can lean on it. Will it get a lot of use from visitors / customers? If yes, then consider the construction material, especially the plinth.
