Welcome to part 4 and the final part of our series on how to make your office space feel bigger

In the first three blogs we discussed how changing the colour of your workspace , selecting certain flooring and furniture can have an impact on a rooms appearance. In this week’s blog we will be discussing how mirrors and more can impact the appearance of your work space.

Use of Mirrors

Mirrors are a great way to reflect light in any room thereby making it appear bigger. If you are using a mirror in an office you can have your company logo etched on the glass thereby making it multifunctional.

Strategically placed mirrors can make the world of difference to a small room.

Window Dressings

Blinds are generally favoured by interior designers when dressing windows in a small room as they can be pulled up or back, depending on the style, allowing as much natural light as possible to pour into the room. If you must have curtains make sure the pole extends beyond the window frame so that the curtains can be pushed back and the window itself is fully visible.

Clutter

Clutter is not recommended in a small room. Make sure you put everything away after use and get rid of “stuff” you no longer need or use.

We hope you enjoyed our four part series on how to make an office space feel bigger!
